Final Christmas Wrap-Up in NC

Happy New Years Eve!
I'm wrapping up our Christmas festivities today by recapping our time in NC :-)

We left Andy's parents around 11:00 on Christmas morning and we headed south to Salemburg. Sampson county welcomed us with a beautiful sunset ;-)

We have started having Christmas dinner at my Aunt Alta's house. Her house is gorgeous and her Christmas tree provides great photo ops Ha!

I love getting to see Grandaddy on Christmas!

We got a group picture by taking a timer pic! All of my mom's siblings were there but we had many cousins missing. Even though we can't all be there any more, it is a special time to see those that can come <3

The day after Christmas, we went on a shopping trip to Matthews in Clinton and then we drove to Charlotte. Our very last Christmas stop! I love sitting by the fire and looking at all of mom's decorations!! That's how we ended our night on the 26th.

On Thursday, the 27th, we had Christmas morning with Mom and Phil :-) It was SO fun having all of my siblings under one roof. This rarely happens anymore so it was a treat! We played "What do you meme?" while Mom and Phil finished breakfast.

After breakfast, it was time for presents!

We went shopping on the day after Christmas because... Will and Leah found out Christmas Eve that they are having a girl!! Of course we had to give baby Parker a gift from "the girls."

Later that afternoon, we went to hang out with my Dad and Kendall. Then, we met back up with Mom, Phil, and Anna to go to Top Golf.

We had injectable donuts for dessert YUM!

You could tell Andy is the golfer in our bunch ;-)

Friday morning, we were cozy by the fire and Mom looked like this :-) Comfy cozy game strong.

We got to met up with Amy and Tyler for lunch and then we went over to Dad's for one last Christmas!!

It was fun to see their decorations in their new house :-)

We got to sit around and catch-up, eat a yummy Mexican meal, open presents, and play a few games!

My stocking was full of amazing bath bombs :-)

Sibling picture in front of Dad and Kendall's tree :-)

Saturday came way to fast and it was time to travel home. The Queen City skyline looked beautiful on our way out of town!

I say it every year, but I'm so thankful for all of the family time we get to have at Christmas! It involves a LOT of traveling, but it's worth it to make memories together.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Isabell Christmas

Well, we made it back after our week of Christmas travels!! I'm going to start where I left off.

We got to Andy's parents house Sunday afternoon and settled in for the night. I completed a puzzle and Andy even helped me! ;-)

Luci made herself right at home Ha ha

On Christmas Eve, we mostly just stayed around the house until it was time to go visit Andy's Dad's family. We drove over to his Aunt Mitzi's for her Christmas Eve festivities. Shortly after we got back to Andy's parents, Mark, Stephanie, and Harrison arrived.

Uncle Andy and I got in some cuddles with Harrison before bedtime :-)

... and just like that it was Christmas day! We woke up bright and early to open gifts. Luci was ready :-)

At one point Luci couldn't get to me because I was surrounded by boxes ha ha

The best gift on Christmas morning was definitely these suits.

Around 10:00, we took some pictures with Andy's family before we hit the road to NC. We captured some sweet ones <3

Love these siblings!

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

We were all like the "Little Engine That Could" this past week at school. My middle school students just wanted to count down the days until BREAK not Christmas Ha ha

Also, how sweet is this ornament I received from a student earlier in the week?

My last day of school before Christmas break ended with a fun gift from my secret Santa, my sweet coworker, Emma!

After our work week was done, Andy, Luci, and I got to celebrate our own little Christmas this weekend!

We woke up Saturday morning and Santa Claus had come! ;-)

Luci girl was ready to open her stocking first.

She got a new bone that she still hasn't warmed up to. She's so funny about new toys.

She decided to settle for a bow on the couch *insert eye roll* ha ha

Then it was time for our stockings...

... and our gifts to one another! My gifts looked so cute all together :-)

Andy hit the ball out of the park! I got a weighted blanket, lovely kate spade earrings, and a new movie!

Andy preferred to stick to a theme when he requested gifts this year.

That afternoon, Luci and Andy lounged while I made cookie dough!

We decorated the cookies together after they came out of the oven. These are my favorite sugar cookies!!

We rounded out our own little Christmas day with a date to see the new Grinch in theaters. I LOVED it!! I will definitely buy it next year when it's available :-)

This morning we went to church before leaving for our week of Christmas traveling. Mr. Andy decided to open Ethan's candy cane for him. Let's just say it was a *sticky.* Ha ha

We've made it to the Isabells for our third Christmas. Stay tuned for Christmases 4, 5, and 6 too!
