Carly and Christian's Wedding!

The last stop on my 4 weekends of travel in July was going home for my great childhood friend Carly's wedding!! I absolutely loved getting to share in the JOY of Carly and Christian's wedding day! They are such an amazing, Godly couple and I wish them all the happiness in the world!!

The church was decorated beautifully!

Andy was supposed to be attending a conference in DC this past weekend but after plane troubles, he got a refund and drove to me! It was a wonderful surprise and I'm so glad he got to be my date :)

I just love watching first dances :)

& Daddy/Daughter dances! We have some crazy fun memories at Carly's dad's house Ha Ha

She was such a beautiful bride!! I'm so glad I got to see my sweet friend Rachel there too :)

& they were off!!

Parker Myrtle Beach Trip

This past weekend, my next travel destination was Myrtle Beach with my Nana, Papa, and Aunt Darlene! We stayed in the travel park that they used to live in and it made me all kinds of nostalgic :) I used to go and stay with them there for weeks at a time during the summer! I get my love for the beach honest!

We stayed across the street from their old place :)

Golf cart rides at the beach are one of my favorite things!

We ate at Hamburger Joes on Thursday night and Papa found a bill with ECU on it ;)

Friday was rainy but we ended the day spending a little time on the beach of course :)

The sun finally came out on Saturday and we took full advantage of it!! We stayed out on the beach until 6:00.

& I'm seeing a trend of these wonderful beach trips ending with beautiful sunsets!

I sure do love my life in the mountains of Boone, but the beach has always been my first love <3

4th of July Beach Trip

The next trip on my traveling extravaganza was a family beach trip to Ocean Isle!! My Uncle Charles and Aunt Kim invited us to stay with them at their beach house last week and we had a wonderful time :) I took tons of random pictures so I'll let them do the talkin'

Ready to hit the beach!

Before a Boundary House dinner

Hurricane Arthur "hit" Thursday. Wasn't anything more than just a bunch of rain and strong winds so we busted out of the house to explore ;)

Then the sun came back out for 4th of July on Friday!!

1st up, the parade! We watched from our balcony

the bikes

I love the patriotic golf carts!

then there are ones like Mater the tow truck ;)

Some Jimmy Buffett lovers

I want this "golf cart"

a human cannonball

this tractor made me laugh, only in the South

and some people just went all out, decorating their car and boat!

Next: some beach time! It was just a little crowded ;)

Barrett, Stephen, and I ventured to the pier for some Sunset slush; yumm

Then it was time for Friday Concert Series!

Anna and Barrett were twinning

The night ended with a beautiful sunset and watching fireworks from the widow's walk. We could see them from all surrounding beaches-so neat!

4th of July is my favorite holiday and this one did not disappoint!!

We ended our beach week by walking to Sharkys and enjoying some delicious seafood!

I just love spending time with my family in my favorite place in the world!! What a great week :)
