Thanksgiving 2018

This year, we changed up our holiday traveling schedule. We flip-flopped Christmas and Thanksgiving, so we spent the weekend before Thanksgiving with the Isabells! We went to Craigsville on Friday night and we ate Thanksgiving dinner with them on Saturday evening.

We also worked on puzzles and I wrote Harrison's name on his stocking ;-)

We went home on Sunday and then hit the road for NC on Tuesday! Our first stop was in Charlotte so we could see Dad and Kendall Tuesday night.

Wednesday morning we headed to Salemburg to have Thanksgiving with Grandaddy.

Wednesday evening we drove over to Meadow, NC to see the Meadow Lights! It was so fun and it got me in the holiday spirit :-)

Thursday included the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, family time, and delicious food!

After a shopping trip to Matthews on Friday morning, we hit the road again for Wilmington! We got to spend the night with Nana, Papa, and Aunt Darlene.

We had a seafood dinner and went to pick out Nana and Papa's Christmas tree!

After we got the tree in the house, we called it a night. It was much bigger than we anticipated! ha ha

Saturday morning it was VERY rainy. Andy helped put up the garland around their front door and I got to set up the snow village. Then, we had to leave early that afternoon to head home.

Once we got home, I took a relaxing bubble bath while reading a Christmas magazine. It was amazing!

We wrapped up our Thanksgiving week with a beautiful Sunday at church. I got to wear the new boots Aunt Darlene bought for me!! It is soo hard to find boots to fit my calves so I was super excited about them :-)

November Snapshots

Thanksgiving is super early this year, so here are just a few snapshots from our November so far. The Thanksgiving week travel craziness begins soon! :-P

November started out beautifully!

We got to celebrate my favorite guy on November 1st! He's 29 y'all!! I can't believe he'll be 30 next year! He's the best and I could go on and on about how much he deserves to be celebrated :-)

We celebrated Andy's birthday with his family that Friday night which, of course, included Harrison snuggles!

Andy and I both had Veteran's Day off. While he got a haircut, I took the opportunity to eat lunch outside of Corn + Flour. It was chilly, but I figured it would be my last opportunity to do so before winter hits!

Last Saturday, we spent the ENTIRE day with our best friends. The guys went hunting most of the day so Becky and I hung out with the kids. We ate dinner together, the kids went to bed, and then we hung out some more. We love these sweet friends!

Last and probably least, ha!, I had a filling replaced and we had our first icing of the winter!

I wonder what weather this winter will bring!?
