Spring Break 2015

Well, my last spring break ever has come and gone!
It started off with a wedding shower for my brother's fiancé, Leah last Saturday and turned into a relaxing week due to a minor gum surgery I had on Monday. Though it has been pretty painful, I got many snuggles from my favorite pup and some much needed rest!

The week ended on a high note when I got to see this handsome guy and visit my favorite flower girls :-)

I'm now on the home stretch until graduation!!

2015 Barrister's Ball

I wasn't blogging much around the time I went to Andy's first Barrister's Ball, two years ago. It is basically just a big dinner & party that the law school throws each year in the spring. I wasn't able to go last year but I was so glad I got to make it for his LAST one. Now that was something to celebrate :)

Here we are going to his 1L Barrister's Ball

This past weekend, I made the drive up to Morgantown. Andy met me about 3/4 of the way at his parent's house so I wouldn't be driving alone so late. We got to his apt around midnight. This is what we look like after a full week and all that driving.

Saturday night we cleaned up nicely and were ready to go party!

Why not take a selfie while waiting on dinner?

It was a fun night and well worth the drive. I'm so proud of my man and all he has accomplished in law school. I can't believe these three years are coming to a close but boy am I happy to see the light at the end of the tunnel! He has worked so hard and I can't wait to really celebrate his graduation AND completion of the bar once we're married. It's less than 5 months away!!! You got this babe :)

SnOMG Chapel Hill Edition

Chapel Hill did not disappoint me with the snow days we got this year! The weather has been icy and snowy off and on for the past two weeks. I ended up having four snow days in two weeks. That is more than I ever got in Boone ha!

It started the Monday after Valentine's Day weekend. I was shocked when I saw this appear on my phone!

We got a good bit of ice which had the town closed for two days!

A snow shower of big, beautiful flakes came and went fast on Wednesday and we enjoyed watching it while we ate dinner :)

The next Tuesday brought more ice and another snow day.

Then last Wednesday night we got the biggest storm of all. We got about 5-6 inches! That's a lot in these parts. Thursday afternoon Amy, Michelle, and I went on a walk and built a snow man :) We had to enjoy at least one of these snow days outside!

loved these little doggy prints

There were snowmen all over the place. I thought these two were cute.

We ended our fun with snow cream and a Disney movie :)

I always love having a taste of winter because, really, who wants cold days all winter without snow!? But now I'm ready for spring!!

I got a nice taste of Spring today when the high was close to 70 and I went to barre class in flip flops and no jacket. Woohoo! Bring on the warmth :)
