Leah + Will and Andy's Law School Graduation

Well, my big brother is married!!!

After getting my bridal portraits taken last Saturday, it was officially Will and Leah's wedding week! I helped my mom with the planning/set up of their rehearsal dinner Friday night and then the festivities began!! Friday was wonderful and the wedding day could not have flowed any more perfectly. I was so excited to stand by Leah as she married my brother and we partied the night away! Here are some of my own pictures from the weekend :-)

Friday night

Wedding day!

Now to the second part of this post: my fiancé is an official law school graduate!!!! Unfortunately, my brother's wedding happened to be on the same day that Andy graduated from law school. I would not have wanted to miss being at my brother's wedding for the world, but it was heartbreaking to miss my man, who has worked SO incredibly hard, walk across that stage. His sister-in-law, Stephanie, face timed me while we were getting ready so I was able to see it live over the internet, but it still pained me to miss it. I can't describe how proud I am of all that he has accomplished. God has amazing things in store for you babe!

Master's Graduation

Because there is no way to adequately describe the feelings I felt on Saturday, I will summarize with my Facebook post:
On this night two years ago, I took pictures in my cap and gown not knowing what my future held because I'd been denied to each masters program I'd applied for. Little did I know that I'd be granted admission just a few hours later. I'm so very thankful God's plans are bigger than mine. I was able to fulfill my dream of becoming an SLP! Tonight I walked across that stage to celebrate the fact that I can now practice SLP by earning my MS degree!! Thank you to amazing support system. There is no way I would have gotten throught grad school without them.

Now I will let the pictures do the talking. I am officially an ASU graduate times two!!

One last ride up these beautiful mountains.

Goodbye Chapel Hill!

I simply cannot believe the time has come for me to graduate from Appalachian State University.

On Thursday, I took my last Pure Barre class then Amy helped me pack up everything I had in Chapel Hill (in the rain!). I finished up my internship on Friday and here are the thoughts I shared on Facebook:

Today not only marks the last day of my absolutely amazing internship, it's also the end of my stay in Chapel Hill with my best friend, AND we're officially in the double digits for our wedding countdown!! I'm so thankful for my time spent in Chapel Hill but it's time to graduate and be done with school for good y'all!!! Let this summer FULL of celebrations begin! 😊#7daystilgraduation #MSSLP #99daystilIdo#allthefeels

For memories sake (like I always do), I got a picture of myself in front of our apartment that we shared such sweet memories in during my last stretch of grad school.

Afterwards, I headed to Carolina Beach to celebrate the completion of our internships with my girl Meghan! We didn't take any pictures together but it was a fun weekend full of catching up, eating at delicious island restaurants, and some time on the beach when the sun came out!

Finally, since I've been home, anxiously awaiting graduation, I got to meet up with one of my favorite people, Sierra, and meet her baby girl Rielynn!! Sierra was my roommate freshman year at ECU and also junior year at App. She has been living in Texas the past two years and I can't believe she is now a mommy! We had lunch together, did some baby clothes shopping, and ended the day at my house. Such a fun time, I sure hope she moves back soon :-)

I mean, is she not the sweetest!??
