Bermuda Cruise {Part 3}

After getting back on the ship from Horsehoe Bay, we got ready for dinner.

Here's another story from our week... Our waitstaff were young- we had a young guy named "Chin" (I would butcher the correct spelling if I tried hah) and a young girl named Rahab. Rahab was wonderful, she was very kind and we loved chatting with her. "Chin" was very nice as well, but he did seem to struggle a little bit with time management and catering to all of his tables. On our third night, while we were in Bermuda, they changed things up since so many people eat off of the ship. We had Rahab with an older woman who was game-on! It seemed that Rahab usually had to pick up the slack for our assigned waiter. So... when it was dessert time, this older woman brought out our cheesecake and then Rahab brought some out too (thinking we hadn't gotten any yet) Hahaha
We did NOT eat all of that cheesecake but it was funny and we had to document it ;-)

This is the first time we've ever stayed at an island over night. We were super excited to get back off the ship after dinner!

We came up on this Pirate Ship bar and we had to snap some pictures to send my Dad :-)

We decided to walk over and check out the Snorkel Park beach since that's where we were going the next day.

It was really neat! They had bonfires set up, music playing, and free wifi ha! We got to message our sweet boarder and check on Luci :-) It sprinkled a little bit while we were out, but not enough to damper our night.

We ended our night by kissing under the Moon Gate. Local legend says that if you kiss under it you will have a long and happy life together ;-)

The next morning we woke up early to explore the island some more before it was time to leave. Kings Wharf, Bermuda is definitely one of our favorite islands now! It was SO beautiful and clean to walk around and explore. There was also a lot of history within the old Royal Navy Dockyards.

We spent a little more time on the beach and in the water at Snorkel Park.

This beach is man-made and was not nearly as pretty as Horseshoe Bay, but it was still nice and you can't beat being able to walk there from the ship!

After a little beach time, we set off to explore and do some souvenir shopping.

See what I mean!? Gorgeous streets!

I bought some beautiful earrings from this glass blowing shop. It was fun to watch them work.

Some more views from walking around the island. We didn't want to leave!

Here are some pictures I took as we sailed away:

We left around 2:00pm so we still had plenty of pool deck time before dinner. We set up camp here and rotated from reading, to swimming, to napping. What a life, right? :-)

We ate another delicious dinner and then went to Quest!

I had to take a picture because Andy got to participate in this round. They were looking for the shortest and tallest man on your team. Andy represented our team well :-P

& then our fourth day ended with a monkey hanging from our ceiling :-)
