Happy 2019!!
Another year has passed by and it's time to highlight some things that happened in 2018! I fill out this survey each year and it's fun to see how my answers change.
What did you do this year that you had never done before?
I helped start a Women's Ministry at our church
I was affected by a work stoppage/strike
We went to the Easter service at our own church
We visited Bermuda
Since we switched our holiday travel around, I spent Christmas morning away from my family for the first time ever
& I became an aunt!

Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes! Mark and Stephanie had Harrison on September 14 :-)
Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully, no.
Thankfully, no.
Did you suffer any illness or injury?
Thankfully, no. I owe it all to my apple cider vinegar shot I took every single morning ;-)
What was the best thing you bought?
Our cruise to Bermuda :-)
Where did most of your money go?
Just the usual! Other than vacation, no big purchases were made this year.
What songs will remind you of 2017?
From Pop Culture, it's gotta be "Kiki, do you love me?" HA!
& "Joy" by King and Country
I found a Christian playlist on Spotify and I LOVE all the songs on it. It has been on repeat since last summer.

What do you wish you would have done more of?
I'm completely content with the things I accomplished in 2018. I majorly struggled with anxiety for a large part of the year, but even through that I grew in my faith and still managed to live life through my struggles.
What was your favorite tv program?
This year, I have almost totally converted to youtube. I barely ever watch TV anymore and I follow many daily vloggers on youtube. :-)
The above statement is still true! Andy and I watched a lot of seasons of "The Office" but I've still stuck to a lot of youtube!

What did you do on your birthday?
My family came to visit the weekend before my birthday and we celebrated with cake
Then Andy and I went out to dinner the night before my birthday and as I worded it in my blog post, the day of my birthday was a pretty simple day. I was spoiled by sweet coworkers at school and by fun mail afterwards!
Where did you travel?
I say it every year, but this is my favorite part of my yearly recaps! We love to travel and it's fun to see all of the place we've been :-)
Luci and I traveled to see Mindy and Marc in Mocksville, NC in January
My speech conference was in Clarksburg, WV in early March
I got to visit Katlyn and Brittany in Abingdon, VA in May
Then Andy and I got to go to Litchfield, SC with Amy and Tyler at the end of May
Our next trip was our cruise to Bermuda
We went on a day trip to Huntington, WV to attend Jill and Sam's wedding
Then I went down to Myrtle Beach with Nana, Papa, and Aunt Darlene
Sadly, at the very end of July/beginning of August I missed a trip to Washington, DC to celebrate Barrett :-(
August also brought our Isabell family trip to Pigeon Forge, TN
and a trip to Kinston, NC to attend Allie and Brad's wedding
We stayed in Banner Elk, NC with my Mom, Phil, and Anna in September
Then we went to Raleigh, NC for Barrett and Stephen's wedding in October
As always, we also took many trips to Charlotte and Craigsville throughout the year to visit family and we got to go to Wilmington and Salemburg for a few holidays :-)
Cheers to 2019!!!
