Exciting News!

 So the secret I've been keeping from the blog is that ...

We bought our first house!!!

On March 18th, we closed on our first home! It's new construction so we actually put an offer in way back in January and we've gotten to watch it being built. 

Such an exciting day to finally have keys!

We took Luci to the house that evening and she checked out every thing. She seemed very confused why there was nothing at all inside the house  Hah

We are so very thankful for God's provision! 

Move-in day will be this weekend!!

February Happenings

Just like I may have mentioned in January, we have had some excitement going on that I can’t quite talk about yet.

 

But in the meantime, here are some of our other "happenings" in February!

Andy looked super handsome on his way out to work on Valentines Day :-)

We decided to "check on" some things and then stay in on Valentines Day. We cooked one of Andy's favorite dishes Cajun Chicken Pasta. Yum!

Our SALT Women's ministry at church started our Winter Bible Study, "Finding I Am"

Oh, and a kangaroo came to school! :-) 

We got to go bowling with sweet friends...

... and sadly I woke up the next morning with a fever and ended up having the flu! Boo.

Luci and I got in a lot of snuggle time

and Andy cracked me up when he brought me this tray full of ORANGE food!! Ha ha I could barely eat half of it, but he was so sweet to serve me in bed :-)

The month wrapped up with a sweet "door bomb" from my students that I got to see when I returned to school from being sick! 

So, so sweet!
