September came and went in a blur! We are back to our busy, busy schedules of youth group, bible study, awanas, and WORK! Here are some highlights from our month:
First Day back to work!
I had the sweetest farewell crew ever :-)
Solar Eclipse
The highly anticipated solar eclipse happened on our first day back to work. All the teachers gathered outside to see it all go down. Honestly, it was pretty anticlimactic. I think it would have been cool to be in the "path of totality," but otherwise, not much happened.
Fun with friends
When your friends invite you over for ribs, you just can't say no :-) We always have fun spending time with the Connors. Luci loves playing with Sadie too!
Football fun
Football started and that is what I love about fall :-)
The most exciting part of our Labor Day weekend was a Hokie win against WVU!!!!! Andy and his brothers have looked forward to this game for YEARS and it didn't disappoint! We also had a cookout with Andy's family on Labor Day and the game wasn't mentioned many times ;-)
Random date nights
West Jefferson weekend
In the middle of September, we spent a weekend with the McNeill's at Tyler's family's cabin! We always have such a great time! It was an added bonus to see Anna too!
Special Package
It was SO fun getting a package from Barrett at the end of the month!! :-) I'm thrilled to be her matron of honor!!
