Myrtle Beach!

I just got back from a mini-vacation to Myrtle Beach with Nana, Papa, and Aunt Darlene! It was just the right amount of time to get away to the beach and spend time with family :-) 

We had beautiful weather and I was super happy to sit on the beach each day that I was there! 

I even got to spend time with my Mom, Phil, Anna, & Faith on my way to the beach and my Dad, Kendall, and Will on the way back! :-) 

Luci Diaries {4-5 Months}

Luci turns 6 months old today and she has grown SO much since my last update!! She's had a lot of milestones since then too ;-) 

Luci stayed with my Mom and Phil (and away from both of us) for the first time at the end of May! We received many picture updates and she was definitely spoiled :-)



She was very happy to see us when we got home though Ha Ha

She had her first trip to the river and she did not like to get in past her knees!





Right around the time I got out of school, Luci began to sleep horribly and after several nights of her getting up 2-3 times, she earned a trip to the vet. Poor girl had a UTI and thankfully she went back to sleeping better after her antibiotic.

She began to switch between sleeping on the vent and our bed Hah







It is safe to say that Luci is fully potty trained since the middle of June! Yay!! She may still have an accident every now and then, but she definitely knows she needs to ask to go potty!

Luci has lost MANY teeth and grew new ones just as fast. We found little teeth around our house for a few weeks :-)





She finally fits into her harness which has been great for our long walks!



Luci had her second trip to the groomer a few weeks ago. We hated to cut her fluff but we knew she had to be so hot! She looked like a totally different dog at first, but we still think she's cute :-)

She has stayed with Andy's parents now too!

Luci got her big girl crate and she seems to like it :-)



Finally, our girl continues to chew and eat ALL THE THINGS! Her favorites are socks, paper, underwear, and shoes.

4th of July with Family!

My family came into town this past Sunday to celebrate the 4th of July!

After we had dinner at home on Sunday night, we went to the Greenbrier for ice cream and fireworks! 

                                          

After walking around inside the hotel for a while, we walked down to the pro shop just in time for the fireworks! 

We spent Monday at the pool while Andy had to work (womp!)

Thankfully, he was able to join us for dinner at The Asylum that night. 

We had plans to return to the pool on the 4th, but it ended up being a dreary day. The girls decided to walk around downtown while Phil and Andy went over to the Greenbrier Classic. 

That night we had a cookout and Andy's family got to come too! After good food and good company, we drove over to Alderson for the fireworks… and they were cancelled! Boo! We ended up being glad we saw the Greenbrier fireworks Sunday night hah

My family had to leave early Wednesday morning, but we were able to see the Alderson fireworks when they were rescheduled for last night!

We had a wonderful time with family celebrating my favorite holiday!
