Parker Christmas!

Man, December has flown by! We have been to Christmas parties, church events, shopping, and working like usual. I haven't documented any of December so far, but I was sure to take some pictures this past weekend when we went to Wilmington to celebrate Christmas with the Parkers! :-)

We flew to Charlotte on Friday and then we rode with my Dad and Kendall to Wilmington. It was pretty funny seeing our luggage being carried out to the plane on a golf cart Ha!

We had pizza and hung out on Friday night. Then on Saturday, Andy, my dad and Kendall went to see a movie and I hung out with Nana and Aunt Darlene. We all got back together that afternoon to relax on the porch while our steaks were cookin'.

We watched App win their second bowl game and then we opened presents!

Will and Leah arrived Saturday night and we watched The Secret Life of Pets.

I just love spending time with my Nana, Papa, and Aunt Darlene. It makes me sad that we live so far away!! I'm already looking forward to our next time together.

O Christmas Tree!

This past Saturday, Andy and I got our Christmas tree!! We ended up getting lucky at Lowes this year :-)

We ended up being able to decorate the tree and the house in the same day! I posted what our house looks like at Christmas time last year ! It really paid off to be able to pull out organized/labeled bins this year!

Cheers to this Christmas season!!

Thanksgiving 2016!

Our Thanksgiving looked a little different this year since we visited my family in Charlotte first!

The weekend before Thanksgiving we headed to Charlotte on Friday. We attended Laura & Todd's wedding on Saturday night with family and friends. It was beautiful and very windy :-)

On Sunday, we had Thanksgiving lunch at Mom's! She cooked all of our favorite Thanksgiving foods. It was so good to have all my siblings in one place too. We haven't all been together in a long time!!

Since I had the week off and Andy had to work, I stayed in Charlotte until Wednesday. Lewisburg offers a super cheap flight to and from Charlotte, so Andy drove back and I flew back.

Once Andy got home from work on Wednesday, we drove to his parents house. We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday evening and then we (mostly Andy & Eric) decorated their Christmas trees!

We stayed up super late playing Phase 10 with Andy's family and it was a lot of fun. We went home on Friday night and then we had the weekend to relax at home and prepare for Christmas! We are so very blessed and thankful.

November Highlights

November has been a *little* less eventful than October :-) I thought I'd add a few highlights before Thanksgiving gets here!

Bonfires with friends

The election :: ok so the highlight of this was that it's OVER.

Halloween + Andy's Birthday

Andy's birthday post may always be paired with Halloween ;-)

After our fun-filled October, we had a very low-key Halloween. Once Andy got home from work, we just ate dinner, baked some cookies, and watched Halloween movies. It was perfect. We didn't even turn our porch light on considering we only had one group of trick or treaters last year ;-)

My sweet husband turned 27 on Tuesday and we celebrated with dinner & cake!

I'm so grateful to have Andy as my husband. He is so hard-working and he loves so well. I hope his 27th year is amazing and I can't wait to see what is in store!

We also have plans to stay with his parents this weekend to celebrate some more :-)

Fall Beach Getaway

Y'all. I have a new love affair with the beach in October. I mean, I always love the beach but this weekend was SO amazing. The weather seriously could NOT have been better. We stayed with Amy and Tyler for the weekend and we arrived to Litchfield Beach late Thursday night.

We woke up to a gorgeous day on Friday (in the 70s!) and we just hung out and enjoyed the beach all day.

We cooked a crock pot meal Friday night and got to spend some time with my Nana and Aunt Darlene.

On Saturday, we met my Nana and Aunt Darlene in Murrells Inlet for lunch. It was another beautiful day and we walked around on the marsh walk.

Saturday night we attended Harrison and Kathleen's wedding. They are two of Andy's friends from law school. It was such a beautiful venue and we really enjoyed the festivities!

We made one last walk out to the beach on Sunday morning and ended the weekend having breakfast with Amy and Tyler.

We love traveling with these best friends so much! We agreed that we should go to the beach together every October :-)
